Two entries, itemised
Most cookie policies are long because the site has a lot to declare. Ours is short for the opposite reason. Last updated 27 July 2026.
What we store, exactly
Two small entries, both kept in your browser's own local storage rather than sent to us:
- Your cookie choice — whether you pressed "Accept all" or "Essential only" on the banner, so it stops asking every time you open a page.
- The age bar state — whether you collapsed the 18+ notice. The bar itself stays on every page either way; this only remembers whether you wanted the full wording showing.
Neither identifies you. Neither is readable by anybody else. Both disappear the moment you clear site data in your browser, and the site works perfectly well without them — you would just be asked about cookies again on your next visit.
Analytics
If you accept non-essential cookies, an analytics cookie may be set to count page visits in aggregate: which comparisons get read, roughly where visitors arrived from, and nothing more granular. It exists so we know which reviews to update first. Choose "Essential only" and it is not set at all.
What we don't use
No advertising network cookies. No retargeting or remarketing pixels. No social media trackers, no embedded videos loading third-party cookies, and no cross-site profile building. There is no advertising inventory on this site, so there is nothing here to sell an audience to.
Affiliate tracking, and where it lives
Our operator links carry a tracking parameter in the address itself rather than in a cookie set by us. When you follow one, the operator's own site may set cookies on its domain to attribute the visit — that happens under their policy, on their site, once you have left. We have no access to it and receive no information about your account or your activity from it.
Changing your mind
Clear the site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit, letting you make a different choice. All four major browsers do this from the padlock icon in the address bar or from the privacy section of settings.
You can also block cookies for this site entirely. The pages, links, comparison table and age notice all work with cookies and JavaScript switched off — only the banner and the comparator filters depend on scripting, and the comparator falls back to a plain ordered list.
