Eight criteria, six casinos, nothing hidden
The front page shows the summary. This page shows the working: every criterion we scored, what each operator got, and why.
Read this first. Stakes and Spades is an independent comparison site, not an operator or a regulator. Links to operators are affiliate links and may earn us commission; the scores below are unaffected by that and cannot be bought. Every site listed holds a UK Gambling Commission operating licence. 18+ only.

Top of the grid
Grosvenor wins on the two criteria weighted heaviest. Its table-game floor is the only one here that competes with a physical casino's, and it is the sole operator on the list streaming live tables from venues it runs itself. On a lighter weighting for game range, 10Bet closes most of the gap. |

| Jackpotjoy | Yes | Bingo schedule, in-house and branded slots | Compact section behind the bingo | In-house Gamesys builds, licensed names | iOS and Android apps | Bingo tickets with bonus spins | Live chat, help centre | Organised around bingo, not a lobby | 78% |
| Midnite | Yes | Tight casino beside sports and esports | Short list of live tables | Short supplier list | iOS and Android apps | Sports-led welcome, casino separate | Live chat, help centre | Cleanest interface of the six | 71% |

The same eight criteria, one site at a time
Each block below repeats the grid for a single operator and adds the context a table cell can't hold.
Play Magical
74%Two audiences share this site: people who came for the reels and people who came for a bingo room, and the design does a decent job of keeping both happy without splitting into two products. What it doesn't do is compete on tables — the live section is a short list, and the non-live table games are shorter still.
Where it earns its score is coverage of the slot end. If a title has been popular on British sites in the last few years, there is a fair chance it is here, and the bingo schedule gives the site something the pure casinos on this list don't have.

10Bet
85%A sportsbook that built a real casino rather than a token one. The live lobby is the broadest studio-sourced section on this shortlist, covering roulette and blackjack in quantity plus baccarat and the game-show formats that have taken over that part of the market.
The one cost of the two-in-one approach is noise. Sport dominates the navigation, so the casino often takes an extra tap to reach, and the promotional space is shared between the two. Worth it if you use both; slightly in the way if you never place a bet on football.

Lucky Vegas
82%The jackpot shelf is the giveaway: this is a site organised for people browsing slots, with progressive titles pulled out so they are easy to find. Live dealer is treated properly, with the standard three formats plus the game shows, and it lifts the score more than the slot count does.
Two things hold it back. Table games outside the live section are thin, and everything runs through the browser rather than an app, which matters most if you play live video on a moving train.

Grosvenor
93%Grosvenor Casinos is part of the Rank Group and still operates venues across Britain, which is the reason its online lobby looks different from everyone else's on this list. Roulette, blackjack, baccarat and casino poker are treated as first-class categories, and there is a poker room attached rather than an afterthought link.
The live tables are the headline. Alongside the usual supplier studios, Grosvenor broadcasts from tables inside its own UK casinos, so you are watching a room that exists at an address rather than a set built for streaming. On a page that weights game range and live play above everything else, that combination is why it finishes first.
It is not the obvious choice for everyone. If you only ever open slots, the extra table depth is wasted, and 10Bet or Lucky Vegas will feel closer to what you want.

Jackpotjoy
78%Running since the early 2000s and now part of the Gamesys stable, Jackpotjoy is a bingo brand that added a casino rather than the reverse. That history shapes the whole product: rooms have schedules, chat is part of the experience, and the slot shelf leans on in-house builds and licensed names instead of buying in everything available.
Judged on our two heaviest criteria it lands mid-table. The bingo category is a genuine point of difference no other site here matches, but the live casino is small and the table games are limited. Ranked on bingo alone it would finish first by a distance.

Midnite
71%The youngest operator here and the most obviously built in the last few years. Sports and esports betting came first, the casino followed, and the lobby was kept short on purpose — a curated slot list and a small set of live tables rather than thousands of titles nobody opens.
That decision costs it points on our criteria and wins it points on usability. Nothing on this list moves faster on a phone or takes fewer taps to reach a specific game. If breadth is what you are after, though, it finishes last for a reason, and the live table count is the thinnest of the six.

Apps and browsers, and when it matters
Four of the six publish apps for iOS and Android; Play Magical and Lucky Vegas run through the mobile browser. Neither route is automatically better, and both are held to the same licence conditions.
The difference shows up in two places. Live dealer video is steadier in a native app on a weak connection, because the app can manage buffering more aggressively than a browser tab. And apps can send push notifications, which is convenient if you want a bingo room reminder and unhelpful if you would rather not be nudged — worth checking the notification settings on the day you install one.
Browser play has its own advantages: nothing to update, nothing sitting on your home screen, and no app-store account involved. If you are trying to keep gambling to a deliberate decision rather than a habit, not having an icon on your phone is a small but real help.
